Terms of use

1. Who we are

These terms are between you and Parkwise, of United Kingdom (postal address available on request via hello@parkwise-app.com) (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@parkwise-app.com.

2. The service

Parkwise provides information about street parking and car parks — prices, max stays, hours, restrictions, and driver-reported availability — for cities in the UK. The service includes the mobile app and this website.

3. Information, not instruction

Parking rules, tariffs and signage can change at any time. Signs and road markings on the street are always authoritative. You are responsible for checking them before you park. Parkwise is not liable for parking fines, towing or losses arising from reliance on the app.

4. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Parkwise (or the minimum age required in your country if higher). Provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. New accounts may receive an initial free access period; continued access is earned through contributions or purchased in the app.

5. Paid digital access (in-app purchases)

Paid access extensions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, duration (e.g. 1, 7 or 30 days) and currency are shown in the store checkout before you confirm. Purchases are non-recurring — access expires at the end of the period unless you buy again. Payment is processed by Apple or Google under their terms.

Refunds: refund requests for store purchases must be made through Apple or Google in accordance with their policies. We do not control store refund decisions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and related UK law, including remedies where digital content is faulty or not as described.

By purchasing and immediately using access, you acknowledge that digital content may be supplied at once and your statutory cancellation rights may be affected once supply begins, as permitted by law.

6. Contributions and content

When you submit availability reports, verifications, issue reports, photos or new locations, you grant us a licence to use that content to operate and improve the service. Contributions must be honest. Deliberately false reports, spam or inappropriate content may result in withheld points, reversed rewards or account suspension. See our community standards.

7. Points and access

Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred outside the app. High-impact rewards are released only after verification. We may adjust reward values prospectively.

8. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, resell or redistribute Parkwise data; interfere with the service; or use it unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

9. Termination and deletion

You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account or our web form). Deletion removes personal data as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

10. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) for consumer users.
