Terms of use

Last updated: July 2026

1. The service

Parkwise provides information about street parking and car parks — prices, max stays, hours, restrictions, and driver-reported availability — for cities in the UK. The service includes the Parkwise mobile app and this website.

2. Information, not instruction

Parkwise works hard to keep its data verified and current, but parking rules, tariffs, and signage can change at any time. The signs and road markings on the street are always authoritative. You are responsible for checking them before you park, and for any charges or penalties incurred. Parkwise is not liable for parking fines, towing, or losses arising from reliance on the app.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. New accounts receive an initial period of free access; continued access is earned through contributions or purchased in the app.

4. Contributions

When you submit availability reports, verifications, issue reports, photos, or new locations, you grant Parkwise a licence to use that content to operate and improve the service. Contributions must be honest and made from the location in question where required. Deliberately false reports, spam, or inappropriate content may result in points being withheld, rewards reversed, or the account being frozen.

5. Points & access

Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged outside the app. Rewards for high-impact contributions are released only after verification by other drivers or moderators. Parkwise may adjust reward values prospectively to keep the economy fair.

6. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute Parkwise data; interfere with the service; or use it in a way that breaks the law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its contribution economy.

7. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Questions: hello@parkwise-app.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
